Building Resilience with mindfulness
Four 2-hours weekly sessions via Zoom ONLINE
Both experienced and novice meditators welcome!
Let’s build a supportive community!
June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th.
In the face of national lockdown and uncertainty of the future we need to focus on developing two aspects of our lives where we still have control, namely where we place our attention and how we respond to things, however difficult they may be. This course will help you increase psychological flexibility, personal wellbeing, and groundedness in the present moment. You will develop (or consolidate) skills in mindfulness and establish (or re-connect with) what really matters to you in life.
For those with existing meditation practice, it will be an opportunity to work on consistency and volume of your commitment and to connect with other likeminded people, during the zoom meetings, and in a private Facebook group.
For those new to meditation, it will be an opportunity to acquire quick and simple techniques to manage their stress, unhelpful thoughts, and emotions and to learn how to live a satisfying and fulfilling life according to your own values. You will specifically learn how to use mindfulness to pause and notice how you are feeling; how to practice using self-awareness to guide you to the best next action; you will be introduced to different 8-10min long mindfulness practices; you will discover what really matters to you in your life and how to use your personal values to guide your actions and decisions.
Full price is £140 for four 2hr long sessions including weekly handouts, links to guided practices, and other materials. Contact me directly if you have a question.
